Temperature and Dew Point

For each station, the records are corrected for the elevation difference between that station and Three Rivers according to the International Standard Atmosphere , and by the relative change present in the MERRA-2 satellite-era reanalysis between the two locations.

The estimated value at Three Rivers is computed as the weighted average of the individual contributions from each station, with weights proportional to the inverse of the distance between Three Rivers and a given station.

The stations contributing to this reconstruction are: Beeville Municipal Airport (42%, 47 kilometers, east); Pleasanton Municipal Airport (26%, 64 kilometers, northwest); Alice International Airport (18%, 82 kilometers, south); and Cotulla–La Salle County Airport (13%, 101 kilometers, west).
